1. INTRODUCTION

‘We’, ‘Our’ or ‘Us’ refers to Audi Doctor Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 12228730 and registered office at Birchfield House, Horton Street, Stockport, Cheshire, SK1 3LR,. ‘You’ refers to a visitor to this website (www.audidoctor.co)

We take your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy explains how and why we obtain, store and process data which can identify you. It also explains your rights under the law relating to your personal data. We have tried to make it as straightforward and easy to understand as possible however please do contact us if you have any queries or would like further explanation. We may update this policy from time to time. If we do so, we will publish the changes here.

Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) (the “GDPR”) as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier’.

We may collect some or all of the following personal data (this could vary depending on your relationship with us):

5. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Personally Identifiable Information

Audi Doctor will only collect your personally identifiable information (PII – your name/company name and email address) if you provide it voluntarily by completing our online enquiry form or by contacting us by telephone. If you do not want this information to be collected by us, please do not submit it.

How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?

We will only store or transfer your personal data within the European Economic Area (the “EEA”). This means that your personal data will be fully protected under the GDPR or to equivalent standards by law. We use a secure system to store any personal information you provide to Audi Doctor. This system is only accessible to specific people working within Audi Doctor, and is constantly monitored and updated to keep your information secure. If you get in touch in other ways – in person or over the telephone – your personal information is treated with the same care and consideration.

We will never sell, trade, rent or pass on any of your details to any other party unless legally compelled to do so. We will not retain your personal information longer than it is necessary to do so (i.e. for the duration of the development about which you have enquired) or use it for anything other than the purpose in which it was provided to us.

6. COOKIES & ANONYMOUS TRACKING INFORMATION

When you visit the website, we may collect anonymous information about you. We collect this information using cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device), which we can access when you visit our site. This information is classed as ‘none personally identifiable information’ (Non-PII) and is collected to help us improve the performance of the website so we can provide information relevant to you and deliver the best possible user experience. The kind of information we collect includes your IP address, location, browser, the type of device you were using when you visited the website and what pages you visited on the website.

When you visit the site for the first time you will be advised that you are receiving cookies. 7. SOCIAL BUTTONS

On the website you will see ‘social buttons’. These enable users to share or bookmark the web pages on this site on websites outside of this one. In order to do this, the social buttons require the user to either already be logged into a social network or to log into a social network. This connects the user to an external site, therefore adding scripts from domains outside of Audi Doctor. In most cases these websites will be able to identify you and will have access to your personally identifiable information.

You should be aware that these sites are likely to be collecting information about what you are doing all around the internet, including on the Audi Doctor website. So if you click on any of these buttons, these sites will be registering that action and may use that information.

In some cases these sites will be registering the fact that you are visiting the Audi Doctor website and the specific pages you have visited, even if you don’t click on the social button but are already logged into their services from a previous session (e.g. Google and Facebook). 8. EXTERNAL WEB SERVICES

We use a number of external web services (or plug ins) on the website, mostly to display content within our web pages, allow a user to contact us through an enquiry form, view a map showing the location of our offices or improve the load time of our images and content therefore improving the user experience. These plug ins are developed by third parties. As with the social buttons we cannot prevent these third parties, or their associated external domains, from collecting information on you and how you are using the website. If you are not logged in to external services/websites (such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn or other social media accounts) then they are less likely to be able to identify but are likely to gather anonymous usage information e.g. number of views, downloads, location etc.

If you have any concerns about the information any of these services may be collecting about you or how they might use it you should cease using the website immediately or should visit it in your browsers anonymous mode.

9. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website may contain links to other websites. On websites we do not control, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide whilst visiting those sites. Those sites are not governed by this privacy policy and if you have questions about how a site uses your information you would be advised to check that site’s privacy statement.

10. ACCESSING, UPDATING OR DELETING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
